What is beef tallow whipped moisturizer?

Our Beef Tallow Whipped Moisturizer is a rich, nourishing skin cream made with rendered beef tallow and carefully selected ingredients. Its whipped texture makes it easy to apply while helping lock in moisture and support the skin's natural barrier.

Why use beef tallow for skincare?

Beef tallow contains fatty acids that are similar to those naturally found in human skin. Many people choose tallow-based skincare because it provides long-lasting moisture and helps keep skin feeling soft and hydrated.

What skin types is it suitable for?

Our moisturizer is suitable for most skin types, including dry, normal, and mature skin. If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, we recommend performing a patch test before full use.

Will it clog my pores?

Everyone's skin is different. While many people use tallow without issues, we recommend patch testing first to see how your skin responds.

Does it smell like beef?

No. Properly rendered, high-quality tallow has little to no beef scent. Any fragrance comes from the natural ingredients or essential oils used in the formula.

How do I use it?

Apply a small amount to clean, slightly damp skin. Massage gently until absorbed. A little goes a long way.

Can I use it on my face?

Yes. Our moisturizer is gentle enough for facial use, but it can also be applied to hands, elbows, knees, feet, and other dry areas.

Can I use it every day?

Absolutely. It can be used morning, evening, or whenever your skin needs extra hydration.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Our formulas are made with simple, nourishing ingredients. However, because every person's skin is unique, we recommend patch testing before regular use.

Does it contain preservatives?

Our formulas are made without added water, which reduces the need for traditional preservatives. To maintain freshness, store it in a cool, dry place and avoid introducing water into the container.  Honey does contain water so if you see our honey blend offered, it does have a natural preservative to protect the tallow while still gaining the amazing benefits of honey.

How should I store it?

Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Since it is whipped with natural oils, high temperatures may soften the product. If melting occurs, the moisturizer remains effective, though the texture may change.

Is this product greasy?

Because it is made with nourishing natural fats and oils, it may feel rich upon application. Allow a few minutes for it to absorb into the skin.  Our goal is to make our product as pleasant as possible.  We do add a natural ingredient to minimize "greasy".  You still may feel a difference in using tallow moisturizer, but it will absorb and hydrate your skin in the process.

Can I use it on eczema or other skin conditions?

Many customers enjoy using tallow-based moisturizers on dry or irritated skin. However, our product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have a medical skin condition, consult your healthcare provider before use, we do not make medical claims. 

Is your beef tallow ethically sourced?

We source our beef tallow from our farm raised cattle first and then source from other local farms who prioritize quality and responsible sourcing. 

Is your moisturizer natural?

Our formula is made with carefully selected, naturally derived ingredients and contains no unnecessary fillers or water.

Is it vegan?

Ummm - No.  It's Beef.  Beef tallow is an animal-derived ingredient, so this product is not vegan.

How long does one jar last?

A little goes a long way. Depending on how often and where you apply it, one jar typically lasts several weeks to a few months.

Can I wear it under makeup?

Yes. Allow the moisturizer to fully absorb before applying makeup for the best results.
