At Parr Farms, we believe that some of life's greatest lessons are learned from family, a hard days work, our animals that we care for, and from the land.
We are a small family farm in South Central Indiana where our days are shaped by the seasons—caring for our cattle, checking pastures, making hay, working horses, and doing the countless jobs that come with farm life, even while working full days off the farm. It's a life built on early mornings, hard work, and an appreciation for the simple things that matter most.
Our love for cattle and the satisfaction of a long day of hard work weren't things we discovered—they were gifts passed down through generations. They were taught by parents and grandparents who believed that caring for the land, respecting animals, and putting in an honest day's work with family were values worth living. Today, we're proud to see those same traditions being continued in our own family, learning that some of life's greatest rewards come from dedication, responsibility, and caring for something bigger than yourself.
To us, caring for our animals has never been about doing the most.

We believe in caring well for the animals entrusted to us, improving the land for the next generation, and creating something meaningful with the resources we've been given.
That philosophy has always been the foundation of Parr Farms.
What began as a desire to provide high quality beef for our family and friends, led us to discover the benefits of beef tallow, and has grown into something much bigger than a moisturizer. It's become a way to share our farm, our values, and our appreciation for the people who work every day to preserve a way of life they love.
Our Whipped Tallow Moisturizers are handcrafted in small batches using locally raised and home rendered beef tallow and thoughtfully selected natural ingredients. We begin with tallow from our own cattle, and source when necessary from other local Central Indiana farms. We intentionally source only from locally raised and locally processed cattle, choosing to support local rather than purchasing through large wholesale suppliers.
We believe this approach honors not only the animal, but also the families and communities that make local agriculture possible.
Every jar we create reflects the same values that guide our farm: craftsmanship, honesty, stewardship, family, and respect. Whether it's the quiet simplicity of Legacy, the comforting warmth of Creekside, or the memories behind our signature Second Cutting (coming soon), every blend is inspired by the people, places, and seasons that have shaped our lives and the memories that remain a big part of who we are.
